Wrap: The Best Time to Visit Vietnam (IMHO)
For me, personally, I’d go with late September or early October as my ideal time to visit Vietnam!
The heat and humidity (unless I was on the beach) would be too much in the summer months.
Plus, I enjoy hiking and outdoor activities. I can handle an afternoon shower, but not the more constant rain in the rainy season.
I also like the fact that late September and early October still have manageable tourist crowds, before they swell in peak season.
For me, it’s another example of how ideal “shoulder season” travel can be, whether it’s in Europe, or Vietnam and other parts of Southeast Asia!
